Lumen Field And WAMU Theater Named "Best in PNW"

Lumen Field and WAMU Theater were voted "Best Live Music Venue” and “Best Concert Venue” in the 2023 Seattle Times “Best In The PNW” people’s choice contest.

Beyond being home to four professional sports teams, Lumen Field had its largest concert lineup to date in 2023 with six full-stadium shows including George Strait, two nights of Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Beyoncé, and Coldplay. This lineup was record-setting with Ed Sheeran's show setting Lumen Field’s new all-time attendance record. Taylor Swift’s second of two shows caused record-breaking seismic activity with the equivalent of a 2.3 magnitude earthquake.

The stadium's adjacent WAMU Theater offers a live music experience unlike any other. Directly attached to Lumen Field, WAMU Theater has hosted a wide range of artists including Odesza, Hozier, Jungle, Janelle Monáe, Olivia Rodrigo, Kehlani, and JOJI in a more intimate indoor setting.

In celebration of the "Best In The PNW" recognition, Lumen Field and WAMU Theater are giving away two tickets to 2024 concerts at both Lumen Field and WAMU Theater and you can enter to win.

Earlier this month Lumen Field won Best NFL Stadium as part of the USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice Awards contest, and now this new recognition as the best Live Music Venue and Best Concert Venue adds to the resume of awards for the venue.

After celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022, the stadium launched a "Fanovation" campaign to modernize various areas of the stadium with fan-first innovation. Such improvement projects include a new premium space called Tunnel Club, new north end video boards, and the most Amazon Just Walk Out concession spaces of any sports venue in the world.
